2011 was a busy year for me, I can’t believe it’s over! I went through my photos to try to provide some structure and remind me of the milestones for the year.

January and February were consumed by preparing for a baby, and on March 22 Guinevere Katherine was born!

April held Guinevere’s first Easter. In May, my first Mother’s Day as a mother was celebrated with four generations! My birthday in June was also Guinevere’s first trip to Disneyland.

Guinevere had her first Independence Day in July and we celebrated Daddy’s birthday in August with a party tray party. Guinevere was a great birthday fairy!

In September Guinevere had her first food, started crawling and pulled up to stand in her crib. We went to Disneyland some more too.

In October we took our first family portrait. Guinevere dressed up as a cat for her first Halloween, and I was her (Ravenclaw) Hogwarts student. In November we enjoyed Guinevere’s first Thanksgiving, picked out our Christmas tree at the tree farm and took Guinevere on her first plane trip. We went to Alabama to visit Jerrod’s family, especially his 87 year old Granny. It was my first time there too.

In December, my younger sister Holly got engaged to her longtime boyfriend David. Both of my sisters graduated from Biola University, Holly with her Masters in Elementary Education and Amy with her BA in Political Science. Guinevere sat through two back to back graduations!

For Christmas, my aunt Tana and her family were visiting. They got to meet Guinevere for the first time and they all loved each other. On Christmas Eve Jerrod, Guinevere and I went to In N Out for lunch, just the three of us. It was Guinevere’s first time to In N Out. We went to the Christmas Eve service that night and spent the evening at Gramma’s house.

The next day we spent Christmas at my uncle Eric’s house. Since everyone was there we took a family picture on the porch.
