New Cousin Zachary!

My aunt and uncle had a new baby boy last night.

His name is Zachary Dewain and he was 7lbs and 20 inches long.

I think he likes me already! When I first started holding him, he looked right at me with both eyes open.

Here I am holding him. It’s so exciting to hold a new baby.

Here’s my husband Jerrod holding him. It was his first time holding a newborn baby.

Seeing new little Zachary today, I can’t help but think about how amazing it truly is that God came to earth as something so tiny and fragile.

Jerrod’s Birthday

Yesterday was Jerrod’s 27th birthday. Since Disneyland is having the free ticket on your birthday promotion and I have an Annual Pass, we went to Disneyland. We had some lunch at Del Taco before Disneyland.

Our First Christmas Tree

We picked out our Christmas tree at Peltzer Pine’s tree farm the first day it opened. It was delivered last night. It is a Leylandia Cypress.

Got My Dress!

My dress came in to the shop this week and I went to pick it up and drove it straight to the alterations place to get it fitted. Only 3 weeks to go!

We couldn’t take pictures when I bought it, so these are my first pictures of me in it.

Christmas ‘04

I hope everyone has had a great Holiday. I’ve been slacking on my blog lately, but Jerrod’s off and there was Christmas and tomorrow’s New Year’s Eve! wow. Well, here’s the group picture we took at church on Christmas Eve.

Give Him My Heart

I’ve been scrapping away this week, and this is my favorite one so far. All of the elements I used are originals and I really love the photo. I was going through scanning a bunch of old pictures, and I found this one of me from Christmas 1984. I’m playing in a nativity set, but you could probably tell that. The text is from a children’s solo I had in the church Christmas musical when I was like 8.

The Turtle

Here we are, at the San Diego Zoo. It’s a great, world famous zoo. We took a picture at this turtle. This is the same turtle where my mom dropped my sister when she was a baby. Ah, the memories.

My Scanner’s Working again

Since I got my scanner drivers installed again, I thought I’d scan something.

What I chose was the front of my invitation to the dinner for Signifigant Others of Insomniacs.
